I’m Amber! And flowers have been my passion for over 25 years, as a florist, a freelance designer, and a business owner.
But what's kept me in this craft isn't the work itself.It's what flowers do between us: how they gather people, mark the moments that matter, and turn an ordinary table into something worth sitting around.

4-HOUR IN-PERSON | COLORADO SPRINGS, CO
1:1 Complete Wedding Workshop
This 1:1 workshop is the perfect way to jump-start your wedding floral business.
I will spend the day with you teaching design techniques for three different projects: centerpieces, bouquets & personal flowers, and installation design of your choice.
We will use a color palette of your choice to match the feel of your brand and choose unique blooms and textures to set you a part!
4-HOUR IN-PERSON | COLORADO SPRINGS, CO
1:1 Bouquet Workshop
The Bouquet Workshop is a 4-hour in-person 1:1 floral workshop with Amber, owner and lead designer of Amber Mustain Floral Design. Amber has over 25 years of floral industry experience and has designed over 600 weddings in her career.
In this personal session, you receive one-to-one training and mentoring as you learn how to design two different styles of bridal bouquets. We will be using two different color palettes and unique textures and flowers.

Custom Mentorship Package
Custom packages start with a single mentorship session — a chance to talk through where you are, what you're working on, and what you're hoping to build.
From there, I'll create a tailored package designed around your specific goals as a florist. Whether you're freelancing as a wedding designer, running an in-person flower shop, or working somewhere in between, I've been in each of those arenas myself — and I'll bring that experience directly to your work.

Not at all. It’s the perfect time to start!
Some of my favorite clients have come to me before they had a single paying customer — and we built the foundation together.
If you're at the very beginning, my in-person workshop, Root and Bloom, or a single mentorship session, is usually the best place to start.

The easiest path: book a single mentorship session, and we'll spend that time figuring out what you actually need. There's no obligation to continue beyond that, and even if all you walk away with is clarity, that's a worthwhile session.

Of course! And you're not alone in feeling stuck. Plenty of florists are gifted designers but were never taught the business side of this work, because most floral education doesn't cover it. I do.

We meet in person in Colorado Springs, CO (or on Zoom if you aren’t local.)
You’ll bring whatever you're stuck on — design work, pricing, business decisions, a hard client conversation — and we work through it together.
Single Sessions are 60 minutes unless otherwise arranged, and you'll leave with a clear sense of what to do next.

After your first session, if you want ongoing support, I'll design a custom mentorship package shaped around your specific goals and timeline. No two are exactly alike, because no two florists are.

Yes! Clients often fly in to meet with me in person, because in person work is most effective for floral design training!
If you need support with travel, I’m happy to answer any questions you might have.
